| Bio: | My name is María with an accent on the "i". I am an interesting character. If you look at my interests you can deduct that I am a Mexican, Catholic, vegetarian, Democrat, who likes to dance, cook, and is addicted to cheese. Oh, but there is so much more to me. I live with three amazing human beings, also known as Mayra, Ernesto, and Sam. I am the 2nd oldest, but oldest girl of four kids. I have two brothers and one sister. We are all really close in age, at one point my brother was a senior in high school, I was a junior, my sister a sophomore, and my little brother a freshman. The proximity in age with my siblings has a lot to do with my personality. I always end up being the "mom" in the group. Yes, I even carry plastic covered spoons in my purse, snacks, and a first aid kit in my backpack, just incase of emergency. It is no secret that: My favorite book of all time is Stranger in a Strange Land by Robert Anson Heinlein. My favorite band currently is Coldplay. My favorite color is dark blue. My dream is to join the Peace Corps. For as long as I am able, I will continue to grow my hair out and donate it. I love my natural hair color. My favorite movie is Forrest Gump. My favorite foods are my mom's enchiladas or perhaps molé. My favorite corny song is K-Ci and Jojo, "All My Life". I use to be a vegetarian but now I am a pescatarian (that means that I eat fish too). Haha, people always think I converted religions or something. I am usually a pretty optimistic person.
